We are looking for a new team member to join our Legal team as a Working Student Legal. Are you an advanced law or business law student eager to gain hands-on experience by tackling real-world legal challenges in a dynamic start-up environment? As a Working Student, you will support our legal department with a wide range of legal tasks and contribute to various projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Process and maintain existing contract archive according to instructions
- Review and incorporate new contracts
- Prepare summaries and assessments of contractual terms, focusing on data protection
- Analyze international compliance requirements for mobile applications
- Conduct in-depth research using legal databases and gather relevant legal information
- Procure information, including communication with courts and vendors

The experience we hope you bring to JustPlay
- Ideally, a completed First State Exam in Law or advanced University semester in law (preferably focused on international contract law or data protection law)
- You have an interest in researching, analyzing, and resolving legal issues
- You have a service-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach, particularly in working across departments like Marketing and Finance
- You have a strong team spirit with the ability to work independently and efficiently
- You are solution-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality results
- You have an affinity for technology, with a particular interest in mobile applications
- You are comfortable with tools such as Google Docs, MS Office, and etc.
- You have an excellent communication skills, with strong written and spoken proficiency in both German and English

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
