What can you expect?

  • You conduct field and desk market research by methodically collecting, structuring, harmonizing, and analyzing data from various sources, and summarizing key insights
  • You contribute to publications, intelligence reports, presentations and projects
  • You retrieve and store financial and non-financial data from company sources such as annual reports and publicly filed statements, ensuring data quality and integrity
  • You assume responsibility for developing a robust and consistent data model for storing company financials, market insights, KPIs, quantitative analysis, etc
  • You design and standardize processes and best practices to streamline market research and enhance information mapping and sharing within the firm
  • You serve as the primary point of contact and support for data input, updates, and modelling across the firm, actively contributing to the overall development of our firm to enhance existing products and processes

What should you bring along?

  • You have more than 2 years of full-time working experience as a market/business/data consultant or specialist in a consulting firm or within corporate business development, with a preference for candidates with prior exposure to the event and exhibition industry
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or master’s university degree in a data-related field (business administration, economics, finance, accounting, engineering) with a strong academic track record
  • You possess excellent written and spoken English skills
  • You have strong investigative and conceptual skills, as well as clear and concise communication
  • You are highly skilled in MS Excel and notably in manipulating both structured and unstructured data, and capable of consolidating multiple source files and data points into a cohesive framework
  • You have a passion for data and enjoy data modelling, primary & secondary research and deriving insights from diverse sources of information, with knowledge of current data tools and can implement strategies to optimize the data system
  • You are a team player and can work effectively under limited supervision in a small team
  • You are well-organized, precise and detail-oriented
  • You are a self-starter with a proactive attitude who will thrive in helping to drive the firm’s development
  • You set high standards in terms of quality, reliability and efficiency
