As a Student DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for Cloud Innovation, you'll be at the forefront of transforming the digital landscape in the biopharmaceutical, forensic, and clinical diagnostics industries. Within our dynamic team, you will tackle ambitious projects that enhance our cloud software portfolio and infrastructure, contributing directly to advancements that support global leaders like BioNTech and major events such as the Olympics. Your role is not just about engineering; it’s about paving the way for groundbreaking solutions in science and healthcare.
What can you expect?
- You are responsible for innovation projects in the context of our digital transformation and cloud software portfolio
- You will work with an ambitious team of software and DevOps engineers to improve our products as a working student
- You can use results of your work for bachelor and master thesis at universities and universities of applied sciences
- You join our team responsible for building, testing, and maintaining the infrastructure that enables us to deliver SaaS to our customers
- You design, develop and execute automated performance and stress tests on our current cloud infrastructure

What should you bring along?
- You have a systematic and independent method of working
- You have knowledge in DevOps or Software engineering as part of your informatics-related studies
- You possess excellent spoken and written English communication skills, German language skills are a plus
- You have experience with Azure and Azure DevOps Server, preferred
- You have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, and other virtualization technologies, nice to have

Can I also contact the company's contact person directly?
Personal contact is possible via chat as soon as you have been invited for an interview. Before that, you will receive all important status changes by e-mail. If you have any questions, you can contact your personal Candidate Manager:in from Workwise.
I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you can make up for missing knowledge with additional skills. Use the application's questions to address your motivation and show the company why you are still a good fit for the job. If you don't meet many or all of the requirements, the application will not be successful.
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate.
